![]() ![]() But I was interested in the sociology of that dyad: how it came to be that there were people bringing their dogs into my lab, so the dogs could be tested in my perceptual settings and my cognition settings. Of course people are already studying human-animal interactions. And that dynamic between the dog and the person is of course also fascinating and drives a lot of dog behaviour. They’re in my videos interacting with their people. ![]() ![]() What made you decide to look at the relationship between people and their dogs for this book?Īlexandra: For myself, it was that, even though I’m studying exclusively dogs, I study owned dogs, dogs that live with a person.
